Bio: Originally from "the sunny southeast" of Ireland - Wexford, Anne-Marie has journeyed around the world, including a stint in Australia (and Toronto!) before she settled in BC's "sunny southwest". 

Favourite Place: "Melbourne is the best city in my opinion - great people, very alternative culture, and so many places to eat!" My favourite travel memory so far is the 4-day boat trip I took from Lombok to Flores, with just 15 people on the boat (not a fancy boat either!)  Our itinerary wasn't complicated: each day involved snorkelling, sun-bathing, visiting deserted islands, and catching & eating fish.  On the last day we visited the Komodo Dragon National Park.  This was a pretty amazing 4 days.  Don't know what is going to top that.

Hobbies:  Arts & crafts, going to the movies, seeing new bands, and of course taking care of my pet - Brian the fish!

Travel Tip: Don't stay out partying until 4am when you are going to do a 7-hour hike up a volcanic mountain the next morning!  We're talking personal experience here: Mt. Rinjani, Lombok - it was hell!
