Kindle - a new travel essential?

Kindle, iPad, BB Playbook, mini-laptop?  If you ask 10 people, you'll get 10 different answers to the question: "What is your must-bring electronic device for any trip."   But consider Amazon's Kindle.

Our Carmen says, "It's the best thing EVER for travel!  Forget about using the iPad if you want to read on the beach.  Kindle, with its unique lighting system reads great anywhere.  You can store up tons of new books and magazines."

Cathy, our general manager, test-drove her Kindle on her recent trip to France, and loved it.  "Not only can you carry dozens of books on a lightweight tablet, but you can load all your travel documents.  I carried copies of my Google maps, scans of my favourite travel books, my e-tickets, itinerary, and tons of sightseeing notes copied from websites.  The Kindle held its charge for the whole 12 days of my trip.  I felt like I was on the set of Star Trek.  I'll never travel without this again."

You easily store virtually any sort of document (Word, pdf, etc.) on Kindle by emailing your own unique Kindle address.  It is automatically uploaded to your Kindle.
