Expertise: All things South Pacific, of course, including airfares and routings, Asia, and Alberta. Favourite Place: "I have a major love for the Banff Springs Hotel, where I worked for 6 months Nelson at the top of the North Island of New Zealand is a big favourite of mine. It is a town full of arts and crafts and a major gateway to wineries in the area and some of the most stunning scenery and adventure options. Also, I'll have to pick my home town of Adelaide in South Australia, a pretty city of 1 million people, great beaches, multi-cultural character, great restaurants, and a major sporting capital. It is one of the driest cities in the driest state in the world!" (Okay, we'll bite: why did you move to Vancouver?) Hobbies: Australian Rules Football (more of an obsession than a hobby), movies, cats, travel, tennis, swimming, cricket, soccer, hockey, singing, Buddhism, music, long-distance spitting (just kidding), soup, Asian food, Germany and the German language and our Margaret's fabulous afternoon tea! Travel Tip: Always pack a spare jar of Vegemite in case you find yourself in an uncivilized country! |
